The spot he is seeing is directly in front of the starter way down low . If you could see an early 50's Chrysler with a "6" you would see a full flow filter held on with 2 -3/8 bolts . With a little studying you should be able to figure out to squeeze it in front of the starter or you could build your own plate to bolt to the block and use a remote filter . Your new contraption will need to be removed to do any starter work . Your goal , should you accept this challenge,would be to deliver fresh filtered oil to the bearings of the finest six cylinder engine ever thrust upon the American motoring public .
