That was another idea. I had in mind a mitsubishi 3.9 liter off flat nose Fuso. It delivers 140hp, which should be enough considering the original axles were not designed for tremendous torque. 4bt cummins could be a nice fit, but they are rare and expensive comparing to 6bt. Another issue with the japanese diesels would be to find a bellhousing to marry the NV-4500 to them. There are guys custom machining bellhousing, but the cost of it is almost the price of the motor itself.
