That was a hard one with out breaking it. I did not know at first they could screw in also! Thought the clip under it looked like it would not hold fuel. Anyways I soaked it all in lacquer thinner for 24 hours. Put the base in the vice wrapped 1/8" rubber around the glass. Used big channel locks to turn it. It was real tight but gave and cleaned up nice. Had the stone filter inside but the gaskets are ate up now. It should have a arrow on it or something? I bet a lot get broke removing them for the first time.
