just comfused myself thinking that the front would stay in high when i was putting the rear in low but that is impossible as they all drive off of whatever you put it in

but want to be able to use just one lever for high and low without pulling both of them so i can shift on the fly down the highway

but in all reality with locking hubs unlocked you can just grab ahold of both levers at the same time and pull em in and as your little heart and load demands
