Here's a picture of the hoist room. The new double-drum (1970s) hoist is in the foreground, and the 1920s-vintage chippy is in the background. Both are in perfect operating condition. The main unit has modern electronic controls, while the old unit still has all its original controls. The MG sets in the foreground (to provide adjustable field current to the hoist motors) are in the 700 HP range. I believe the hoist rope in the foreground is 1-3/4" dia.
