I'll have a look. There was a huge fog of a/f blowing around when it let loose, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were coated. It's not squeaking, but it would be really interesting if this were causing the rattling sound. Maybe slip-grab, slip-grab from the belt causing something to knock?
