Gil is right , ALWAYS ABOUT THE CASH , do not just give in they are counting on that , usually you get about 15 minutes in from of the magistrate , have all your information in front of you, especially on the powerwagon , ex did the same to me on mine , found one for 40,000 wanted half of that , I found ones for 1500 and 3, 000 and had a friend appraise it . when we went to court , she tried the 40,000 deal , I said asking and getting are two different things. Had my info on the sold trucks and my appraisal all lined up. Don't forgot that your attorney probably has no clue what the truck is and neither does the other one or the magistrate , I have a 1952 Cat D6 9U ,the did the same thing , found a Newer cat d6 for 105,000 , I showed them the paperwork for the 9u models , and changed that , they are counting on you to just turn turtle and agree to everything . Make your attorney earn his fee .
