I use4 Pickle X. Probably the same chemical.
When I build a truck, its blasted bright and shiny in the fall, new steel added etc. Then Pickle X is sprayed on with a spray bottle, then wiped off dry. The trucks can sit in the shop all winter with no worries of rust. Paint in the spring.

However, one caution. Pickle X must be used with Epoxy Primer. Etching primers are not allowed with Pickle X.

There are probably quite a few products using this chemistry under different names.
