OT Diesel price

The price of diesel just dropped to $2.99 at COSTCO. Regular is $2.36. Listened to a news commentary yesterday saying that speculation in crude prices is very low right now due to the stability of crude production and therefore supply is stable with no foreseeable threats to it. Also demand is down worldwide.

I knew that speculation had driven crude prices way up. It would be interesting to see what crude prices would be without speculation.
