So it would only matter if you put all the load next to the cab and not over the axles. Just because the wheel base is longer it does not over load the front end unless you put weight in the wrong place and load it up to max load. Yes having the axles back further will put more weight on the front axle if you put the weight near the cab. But just having a longer wheel base won't add much at all to the front end and the front end is rated to carry a lot more weight than what is on it empty! The only way you can over load the front end is putting a offset heavy load on the frame in the wrong spot or adding to much weight to the rated capacity of the truck. I won't go into Bridge Loads cause were not talking Big Rigs here. 99% of the these Power Wagons are empty and driven around for show or fun. I know some may be used as a heavy duty work truck. Even my 1 Ton 4x4 Chevy 8 ft bed carried 5 ton in the bed for over 50 miles. I did not know this till I drove over the scales to see why it was hard to stop. I had them fill my bed to the top edge and rounded it with gravel to take up to a cabin I built. Now 10,000 lbs in a PW Bed would be a lot of weight also and it is a 1 ton. So what I am saying is it depends how you load and what amount of weight used on what the front or rear axle load will be, not the wheel base that will overload a front end. Longer wheel bases can make a truck turn wider than a short wheel base.
