Fellow near me has a 331 Industrial Hemi motor to sell. about the same price as the JD diesel and it will bolt up to my original trans so I can retain the use of the MU-2. I've seen a truck with a 276 Desoto in it and it looked as if it was a pretty clean installation. I dont think the 331 or 354 is much bigger than that, and if Frank can stuff a 440 in one...
Anyway, just some other random thoughts.
