My dad, God rest his soul, was a junk yard junkie. Guess the fruit doesn't fall too far from the tree. The problem here, where there are over 5 million people in a congested (San Francisco Bay/Peninsula/Silicon Valley) area is that the politicians and activists don't want junkyards anywhere near the people, anymore. Over the past 10 years I have watched at least 10 close their gates & vacate! Land resale worth more than sustaining the business (not to mention the cost of doing business). That's just of the ones I frequented, no telling how many others threw in the towel. My dream life... owning hundreds of acres and non-stop tow trucks bringing in the weary, broken-down, and unwanted classics with a gas station/diner next door. Oh yea, don't forget my wife & kids & Power Wagon!!! Thanks!
