I'm heading out in a few days to New York, along with Joan and a U-Haul truck to personally pick up an item I bought on e-bay. I had a nightmarish experience with damaged freight recently, and I'm waiting until the shipper stops choking, so they can pay my claim! Believe me, I really struggled to avoid using profanity on the claim form! I shipped out a unit a couple of weeks ago in such a strong crate that the shipping weight doubled, and I'm still not sure if it arrived safely! Take a flight, rent a one-way truck, & bring your treasures back alive - make a mini-vacation out of it - bring the wife & kids along! Just my thoughts lately.
