My buddy and I have driven my WC-10 (1/2 ton) from central Arizona to Big Bear four or five times in teh last several years. 1400 miles round trip on a long weekend. We figure about 34 hour drive time.
Lost a rear seal once. No other problems.
I just try to stay out of other's way.
Here in Arizona (and I'm sure in most of the west) its 50 to 100 miles to anything (events and such). As a result every trip is at least 50 miles and often 300 hundred or so.
If it's in good shape DRIVE IT!
