Several years back I had to run my WDX from Healy, AK. down to Anchorage and back to Healy (approx. 250 miles one way) two weekends back to back. Even with a bad head gasket and worn ujoints, the truck didn't give me any problems. I concure with other postings, carry ear plugs or ear muffs, and carry extra gas or know where all gas stations are.
