I've heard to only use the V8 T-5 heavy duty unit from a Mustang or Camaro. The T-5 won't last in heavy truck. The 230 has ~ 185 ft pounds torque. The '80s Mustang T-5 was rated at 265 ft pound torque, newer versions
were supposedly rated @ 305 ft lb.
