In MO there is no way to get a title for a vehicle without having a title signed by a previous owner, or going through a probate court. The first is impossible or I would not have a problem. The second costs about a 1000 bucks. In very specific situations, you can have the vehicle inspected by the Hiway Patrol and they will issue a new id number. This is not desirable in this case. I know that other people have used these title companies, but I have always wondered as to their legitimacy.
Thanks
Dan
