The 1956 2 ton Dodge 4X4 was the HW. It was proceeded by a number of special order military trucks that were essentially the same. In the 1954 model year, Dodge built some C1-QW6 trucks rated at 1-1/2 military tons (not civilian tons) for sale to foreign governments. GVW was 18,000 lbs.
