never heard of Hercules Truck, but I do know of a few 8X8 Military trucks..IHC Made 8X8 prototypes, Reo Made the XM282 8X8 Prototypes, Chrysler made XM410 and XM410E1 Prototypes. All these trucks I just mentioned are 8X8 with 4 axles, front 2 steered, and were cab over..Also Ford got production to make a 8X8 in the 1960s

THe pic in this message is of a 1959 Chrysler XM410 Prototype 8X8. This is to give you an idea of what they look like..
