We have always used Senco or Hitachi. They are in the top as far as I am concerned, for reliability. Both of my sons have recently added De Walt nailers to their groups of tools.
If you want a decent tool without going top grade, look at Home Depot's guns.
And, there is always ebay....looking for an older Senco or otherwise. But you know the risks there.
