Oh, come on...we STILL cast brake drums out of cast iron, many hub assembly were cast iron, not to mention the truck wheels that had the seperate rim.
How about the housing for brake and clutch mastercylinders, and spindles and knuckles are usually cast.
And intake and exhaut manifolds were cast iron, and some still are. And waterpump housings, and power steering pump housings...
