Unless specified for a particular job or material, CO2 was all we used. And is has been the only thing I use in my home shop ever.

Maybe I'm ignorant, maybe I'm only getting 99.9% of strength? Or wasting more time chipping spatter, but it is all I've used, so it's all I expect.
