I took the W300 out for a ride this morning.

I replaced the old Stromberg with a Model 2300, 500 CFM 2-Barrel Holley carburetor. Mr. Gasket makes an adapter (1937) to adapt the Holley to the Dodge manifold. The studs came out of the manifold without issues, and everything bolted up fine.

The engine ran smooth, no more backfiring. The truck drove well, new tires seem fine. The throttle linkage will need some adjustment, but it works. Should have done this a long time ago.

Time to start installing Ron Reichhart's interior kit.
