Did Dodge put a four speed with a married transfer case behind a big block? Does it matter if I used a big block hydraulic bellhousing with a 4 speed and married 208 from a later small block truck?

Ideally I want to put a 4 speed with a 208 behind a 440 from a Dodge motorhome in a 1967 3/4 ton 4x4
