I worked a lot in the UK, lived there awhile, and we had some production in Scotland. I don't fully understand the drive behind Scotland wanting to leave the UK, but I tend to think this is a bad idea. Won't this just diminish the status and importance of both Scotland and the rest of the UK.

And what is the upside? .
