This is the second large nest I removed this year. I had a large one in the mechancal room behind the shop, and had to remove the nest so I could pull the 5 hp motor off the IR two stage.
The Town Wagon needed sandblasting before more welding.
But I couldn't sandblast because the compressor motor kept going into reset mode
But I couldn't pull the compressor motor for repair because the baldfaced hornets were in the way
So I sprayed down the nest and the must have relocated to the M37.
Now I can sandblast, and weld, and use the M37.
As an aside, a replacement motor from IR would have been around $600 with shipping. The cost to repair at a local motor shop was $137.
All is good.
