Dave, I haven't been able to find the company that I spoke to a while ago. But I did a quick search last night and found a number of places that do acid etching and laser etching, and several in the Baltimore/Annapolis area. Laser etching appears to be a lot less expensive than acid etching, but I don't know if it will give you the results you are looking for. Best of luck in the project.
