The only production info available is based on weight class and engine type. For example 1963 V8 W300 total is 335 and W300 6cyl is 298. There is no breakdown by body type of any kind so that would include even a chassis cowl (just a dash and front sheet metal destined for a custom body like a firetruck). Those numbers come from a third party book and I've never seen the factory paperwork to back them up, but it is the best data there is at this time.

Unlike a 1970 Cuda you'll never know if your truck was the only factory stake bed painted yellow with the optional single rear wheels, factory radio, optional 19.5 rims, and the factory cigarette lighter as there is known know data on those details.

Chrysler supposedly destroyed all the build card data that would have allowed someone to calculate that sort of information and even in the pre 1954 trucks where Chrysler does have the build card data you can only view it one truck at a time at a cost of $25 per truck if you can show ownership of that truck.

As a general rule I see more stake beds than pickup beds, but that is a skewed sample as very few stake beds I see are the factory stake beds. Lots of factory pickups lost their beds over time and got dump beds and stake beds. My email is available by clicking on the blue link that is my name. Email me pictures of your truck and I'll post them for you. I'll also let you know if you have a factory stake bed. My experience says it's most likely an aftermarket one, but there is always a chance it might be original.

Eric
