Just checking to see if this problem has happened to anyone else....Truck was parked for 25 years...took gas tank out and had Gas Tank Renuz do a total inside and out...even rebuilt the sending unit....tried to start truck. brand new motor...all new parts top to bottom...fuel system from the tank inlet to and including the carb...all new...fuel line (rubber), filter fuel pump even the clamps...wouldn't start..could tell it stopped getting fuel...pulled filter and blew out a bunch of dark red nasty...pulled line before pump and drained about a quart before it ran clear...pulled tank drain plug...ran clear from start...drained complete system..changed filter...same problem..after 3rd time of repeating I pulled the tank and took out sending unit...could see 1/2 of inside all was dark charcoal and appeared undisturbed from cleaning process...put back in truck all new gas line again....fresh gas...today the nasty was there again...
I'm stumped...Is all rubber line my problem...whatever it is, it's enough to clog the filter
Thanks to all in advance
