I did my dwell and points and timing and all that and I am really happy with how it starts and runs. So I decide to go for a little drive around the yard. I was having an unusually hard time turning to the left, and then I heard a big clunk. And then again. So I jacked up the front and checked things out. I come to discover there is something unfortunate going on inside the left steering knuckle. It sounds (and moves) like a ball has popped out of the cage. It binds up and then won't turn in one director or the other.

So back into the garage...
