Braden AMSU Winch???

A guy driving past my house last weekend left his contact info with my neighbor and said he had some Power Wagon parts for sale. I contacted him today and he has a Braden AMSU winch and two Budd wheels with tires. Not interested in the wheels, but it sounds like I could get the winch for $300-ish (what he said he has in parts from rebuilding it years ago). He insists this was used on military Power Wagons, but I have only heard of MU-2, etc. Was this winch ever actually used on Power Wagons (or even WC series trucks)?
