I use 1994-1998 Dodge NV-4500 Slave Cylinders.
I have never taken the rod out of one. Actually, I am not sure if they are retained or can be pulled out. Sorry, I dont have any measurement on that rod. However, if you need it, I can dig out the NAPA part number for the complete slave.
