1958 Dodge Model D700 3 Ton Tractor
This truck ran 5 years ago when I drove it to my house, and parked it! There were a limited number of US Navy tractors purchased by the government between 1958 and 1960. From what I can tell they were ordered as either a Navy or Air Force version. This one was sold as surplus in the seventies to a man in Willimantic CT. He used it for a dump truck. I removed the dump body with the intent of returning back to a tractor.
The truck has the 354 cu. in. Hemi, with full air brakes front and back.
Dual saddle tanks, and a fifth wheel plate that goes with it.
This truck has a clear Massachusetts title.
