It is probably too much for this application. Most household generators are about 10-20 kilowatts with a 15-30HP motor

that gearing is efficient - not sure how efficient though

In any case producing electricity with the Powerwagon is easily possible but...practical - not sure. Actually I am sure but the story is too long for me to type right now. :)
