There's 2 full length oil galleries cast into the block on the left side with several plugs and pipe fittings screwed into them. One is usually used for the oil gauge and one supplies the filter, sometimes there's a T in the one to the filter and the oil gauge comes off the T. Any one of the plugs and the pipe fittings can be swapped as long as they are in the same gallery. The restrictor is sometimes screwed in the fitting ahead of the pipe to the filter, sometimes where the pipe goes into the filter, it's just a fitting with a little hole in it. There's a way to make a bypass engine into full flow so you don't need the restrictor, but it's a bit too involved to get into here, better to use a full flow block if you want to do that.
