A restored original or an unrestored original in nice condition is going to bring the most money.
This is a nice original truck and I can see it selling for big money. Something that somebody made that never existed before isn't going to bring the same kind of money.
I too appreciate all the time, money and effort that goes into those one-off creations, but original is what rings my bell.
