well guys i am looking to buy a W300 up around seattle WA and considering driving it back to Southern Illinois…. it would be a heck of a road trip…. go through Yellowstone and then to the Salt Flats.. across Nebraska down to Kansas City then St Louis then south to Anna Illinois, that or have it shipped 2300 miles.. i figure i can fly up there checked on tickets this morning $225 one way… at 10 miles per gallon…. that would be 230 gallons at $4 per gallon $920… plus a couple nights motel… say $1500 eats and treats lodging and gas…. what would you do… drive it or ship it… i believe shipping would probably cost $1500 that far and take lord knows how long and transfer trucks a couple times and sit in a lot or three…. decisions decisions...
