I have 350 ft of 3/8" cable on my MU2. New, it was rated for 20,000 lbs. Probably good for half that now. One time I used every bit of cable to get myself out of a jamb. Only had 2-3 wraps left on the drum, which added a little to the pucker factor. I've pulled all kinds of things with that cable, and never had a problem
