Even though the other guy never mentioned, efficiency, and even though I know what an order of magnitude means, you win.
I'm going to go argue with Kaegi or maybe that guy with the clown truck. I'll have a better chance :)
But, just for consideration. The early steam engines had an efficiency of maybe 10 percent (I'm guessing). Later steam engines had an efficiency of maybe, 40 percent. But, the output of some of the later steam engines was hundreds of times greater. And, it wasn't necessarily related to size. If you have seen the earliest steam engines, they are huge. Solar cells may turn out to be the steam engines of the 21st century.
Anyway, I'm off to try to convince Kaegi that Toyota's are better built than Dodges.
