I was at lake Powell and the monument valley. How canyou do one but not the other? We went north to moab then park city flying out of salt lake after starting in Vegas. So maybe that's what happened. Spent a night at the red river inn and had coffee and beans with john wayne (whiskey too). Went through Kanab too and saw a power wagon set up as a drilling rig. Didn't look like it was going anywhere soon. Also drove by a horse napping on the side of the road. Which we thought was strange until we realized he was dead. Thought that was strange too, never seeing a dead horse on the side of the road before (or since).
