Going nuts with weatherstripping. Bought new weatherstrip. tried everything to get it in there frame. just always seemed to be to long at least a inch. Got , creative and cut the weatherstrip , now i have even bigger mess. Do I need to order a new set of weatherstripping? Has anybody else have a problem with new weatherstripping being wrong length?Any vendor suggestions? I am no a professional mechanic but have done my share of wrenching but have become so frustrated with this weatherstrip .beginning to feel like through in the towel. And there is no instructions as to how to correctly install it , I would think that the correct length should be the same as the frame or just a but shorter . to get a snug fit. Also can you install the weatherstrip with the frame in the cab or does it need to be. out of the cab? I have tried both ways and still no progress and getting the frame in and out is another challenge. And doing this by myself is not easy.Any help at all. By far this is the hardest thing to work on on my truck.Thank you for any help! Earl
