M-37 Winch Shear Pin

I need to replace the winch shear pin on my M-37. I believe it is located on the u-joint on the input into the winch. Anyone know how its replaced, how difficult it may be?
And I had previously pulled the cable out of the rope socket, any suggestions on getting that reset? Thanks
