Definitely easier and cheaper, but I want something that looks more like it might have been installed back in 1946. I like the style Tom suggested. I have one of the Cole Hersee switches in my W300 plow truck, with a knob instead of a key.
Since they make them in various amp ratings, I hoped to find out what the 6 volt starter draws on 12 volts.
