Coolant flow direction in 230

I'm just doing a 12V conversion on my truck, and at the same time adding an inline heater, and a Vintage air Gen II heater.

I need to put the temperature control servo for the Gen II on the line that supplies the heater, would that be the line off the pump, or the back of the head?
