Got a carb rebuild kit with the 62 W300 I bought. 62 does run rough. I'm a novice when it comes to this PW and carb and have no comprehensive manuals to give me the Idle mixture screw set.
Carb is a Stromberg Model-WW, 2 barrel.
The instructions tell me to count the revs of the screws( knew this).
The L screw is 1-1/8 rev's out from full seat, while the R is out 3-1/8 rev's from full seat.
Does this sound correct or even close?
The carb kit is basically a gasket replacement kit with a needle valve.
No float or pump piston, etc.
Guess I'll just clean'er up, replace the gaskets and see what happens!!
Wish me luck and TIA for any helpfull info!!
PS: Can I find/use a reg air breather and ditch the oil bath contraption?? Carb collected alot of exterior dirt via oil coating.
