Here's some basic info from the 13th Edition Motors Truck Manual for 1957-59 315 engine....7.6:1 comp ratio, 197hp@4400rpm, 284 lb.ft. torque@2400rpm, .035" plug gap, ignition timing 6 deg BTDC. I'll need the distributor and carb numbers to give the specific details on those.
