A 6-53 (Add V for V block configuration, as they came straight or V) Is Physically way to big to put under the hood. They are GM engines, were great in fishing boats, are very smooth and vibration free (they are a 2 cycle) but they ARE noisy. A 3-53,3=71, or maybe a 4-53 might fir, but they are very heavy, in fact too heavy. Nice thing about them is you can get parts wherever they sell Corn Flakes (anywhere) Isuzu builds anice engine, if you like Japaneese stuff. Iveco is also good, they are in all the boneyards that deal in truck parts
