I think the auto manufacturers recognize that many of the people who will buy a new car quite possibly have never driven a manual transmission. When I bought my wife's new Honda Accord a few years ago they had to search the country to find a 5 speed because she didn't want an auto.
A Charger with a 6 speed would be fun!!
