My 1943 Carryall had a hinge on each side of the actual windshield frame with a knob to tighten to lock the window open in any position. I did not like that.
A stock Power Wagon windshield will fit the 1943 WC-53 windshield opening perfect. Then look at the WC-53 dash board and you will note the *un-punched* dimple centered in the dash exactly where the PW windshield regulator would mount.
Drill out the regulator crank opening, 2 screw holes on top and a stock PW windshield regulator bolts in....its almost plug n play.
