I saw the post down a ways and thought I might make a suggestion. I have state farm and I insured my WC for a declared value. My agent came out and took pictures once it was done and sent it to the under writers for review, either they have never seen one, or they figured it was worth far more than I declared because they didn't batt an eye at insuring it for 10k. My agent insures several classic and collector cars and said they usually come back with at least a couple questions or want more pictures. I think the only restrictions are that it cannot be my main transport and I can't exceed 3500 miles a year (which they have never sent out a questionnaire for the mileage though we get one every year on the other vehicles). It also includes general liability and I think it runs me right around $25 a month. ... less than my Jeep actually. I believe they might have some questions if I tried to claim a rollover on a muddy tail in Iowa though.
